I don't like the idea of banning anything, but I would strongly suggest not eating seafood. Most of the world's fisheries have collapsed; the remainder are far short of their natural levels. If we keep hurting them, we keep hurting ourselves. If we stop hurting them, then they should, mostly, slowly recover.

the company says it's safe, and there has yet to be an independent study
Lucky, the govment says they must say on the label that it is genetically modified.

GuelphU has done many amazing things, including creating yukon gold potatoes (apparently), but this still creeps me out.
