I don't like the idea of banning anything, but I would strongly suggest not eating seafood. Most of the world's fisheries have collapsed; the remainder are far short of their natural levels. If we keep hurting them, we keep hurting ourselves. If we stop hurting them, then they should, mostly, slowly recover.

Did you here about the genetically modified salmon a company's trying to legalize in Canada?

the company says it's safe, and there has yet to be an independent study

Lucky, the govment says they must say on the label that it is genetically modified.

Vaguely. Over here most GMO and GMO-free labeling is verboten, because, if people can choose, how are the companies supposed to decide what we eat?

On second thought, I'm tempted to ban vanilla. That stuff tastes *nasty*, its taste cuts through everything, and its aftertaste is so gorram hard to get rid if. It's even worse than cilantro that way.
