I hate quack diets
Oct. 27th, 2011 02:12 amI grew up with a lot of food allergies, and still have some food allergies and many other food intolerances. I can make food I can eat at home, but I have trouble finding food I can eat if my friends invite me to a restaurant or the like.
And most of these quack diets involve eating fewer carbs and more fat and more protein. I have a sensitive stomach, and I literally can't eat these meals; if I get them down, I can't keep them down. Add in that many of these quack diets involve eating fish, which I object to for environmental reasons, nuts, which make me sick, sourdough, which sometimes makes me sick, cheese, which I can't stand and which sometimes makes me sick, and so on...
