Asthma, Tobacco, and Aggression

I have been suffering severe asthma attacks again.

I have been finding cigarette butts outside my apartment door. I can get severe asthma attacks from even brief low-level exposure to tobacco smoke, or from accidentally eating eggplant, among other triggers. I am still alive. My dad died of cancer which may have been caused by prenatal and secondhand exposure to tobacco.
